The Sunday Times carried out a sting operation on a Delhi based bookie based on some allegations that the ICC World Cup 2011 semi-final between India and Pakistan was fixed. A Hindi film actress was indicated to have been used to lure cricketers. An image with a blurred face was published in the newspaper with a report claiming that match-fixing is rampant in international cricket and UK's domestic county as well. The image seems to be of Nupur. On 11 June 2012, Nupur Mehta was questioned by ICC's anti-corruption officer Alan Peacock in Mumbai. During the time of the allegations, she claims to have been involved in a relationship with Sri Lankan cricketer Tillakaratne Dilshan.
